Led website content development for Casa Loma with a dual focus on historical storytelling and modern user experience. Researched and wrote long-form, historically accurate copy while structuring content to support intuitive navigation, clear information hierarchy, and hospitality-focused user journeys for visitors, event planners, and partners.

Working on the Casa Loma website meant translating one of Toronto’s most iconic landmarks into a digital experience that felt as rich, layered, and immersive as the castle itself. The goal was not simply to describe a historic site, but to guide visitors through its story in a way that felt coherent, informative, and engaging across modern web formats.
My work focused on long-form, historically accurate content that balanced narrative flow with factual depth. Each section of the site was written to help readers understand Casa Loma’s origins, architectural significance, and cultural role within Toronto, while keeping the tone accessible to both local visitors and international audiences encountering the landmark for the first time.
A strong emphasis was placed on structure and clarity. Content was organised to support intuitive navigation, allowing users to move naturally between history, visitor information, and thematic storytelling without feeling overwhelmed. Care was taken to ensure accuracy, consistency, and a calm, authoritative tone that aligned with Casa Loma’s status as a national historic site.
Beyond storytelling, the work supported discoverability and longevity. Pages were written with search visibility in mind, ensuring that historical context, locations, and visitor intent were clearly signposted without disrupting the reading experience. The result was evergreen website content designed to educate, inform, and age well over time, supporting both tourism discovery and Casa Loma’s long-term digital presence.

From a UX perspective, the writing prioritised clarity, scannability, and intent-based navigation. Sections were organised to anticipate user questions and reduce cognitive load, allowing visitors to move seamlessly between historical context, practical information, and next steps without breaking immersion.
